Letters from Our Clients
“They Helped Us Say Goodbye, When We Couldn't Be There” When my cousin passed away unexpectedly while studying in Japan, our family was devastated. Due to travel restrictions and financial reasons, none of us could go to Japan to handle what needed to be done. We reached out to this service with uncertainty, but they responded with deep care and quiet professionalism. They helped us file the death report, close his bank account, sort and respectfully dispose of his belongings, and communicate with the local authorities. Most of all, they made arrangements for his ashes to be sent home — carefully packed, with a handwritten note. When the urn arrived, we held a small ceremony. It brought us a sense of closure we didn’t think we could have. We will never forget their kindness. — R. Lorenzo, Brazil “They Visited the Property I Couldn’t See in Person” “I was considering renting a small apartment in Tokyo for long-term stays, but I live in Sweden and couldn’t visit it myself. This service went to the property, took detailed photos and videos, and even measured the rooms at my request. They asked smart questions to the real estate agent on my behalf and sent me a full report in English. Thanks to them, I signed the lease with confidence.” — Emma K., Sweden “They Checked the Used Car Before I Bought It” “I was looking at a classic car listed on a Japanese auction site. Before spending that much money, I wanted a real inspection. This team visited the seller, inspected the car’s condition thoroughly, took videos of the engine running, and sent a full translation of the maintenance records. Their attention to detail helped me avoid a risky purchase. Honest and professional.” — Oleg N., Russia “They Helped Us Through Our Family’s Darkest Time” While our son was living in Japan, he unfortunately became involved in a crime and was sentenced to prison. My husband and I wanted to visit him, but we had never been to Japan before and had no idea how to arrange a prison visit. That’s when someone from Kokoro Courier stepped in and changed everything for us. They kindly and patiently explained every step of the process, guided us through the application, and helped us navigate all the unfamiliar systems. Thanks to their support, we were able to see our son safely and without confusion. During our stay in Japan, they also helped us with many other needs, big and small — giving us peace of mind in a place that felt so foreign and overwhelming at first. We’re deeply grateful for the warmth and dedication they showed us throughout this incredibly difficult time. Because of Kokoro Courier, we were able to endure something we never imagined we’d have to face. — Katrin L., Germany “Verified a Product Before Shipping” “I wanted to buy a secondhand guitar from a shop in Osaka, but needed to know the condition. They visited the store, checked everything, and even tested the sound. Super helpful.” — Brandon S., USA They Helped Us Revisit a Memory Frozen in Time” “Among my parents’ old belongings, we found a faded black-and-white photo from their honeymoon in Japan—taken decades ago. In the background was a beautiful temple, but we didn’t know where it was. I sent the photo to this service, and they researched the location, visited it in person, and filmed a short, peaceful video from the exact spot. We played that video during our family’s Christmas gathering. My father, who lost my mother earlier this year, was moved to tears. It felt like she was there again, even just for a moment. We are beyond grateful for this beautiful gesture.” — Hannah S., New Zealand “They Found the Lost Item I Left in a Hotel” “I left a watch in a hotel room in Fukuoka. This service visited the hotel, recovered it for me, and sent it safely overseas. Can’t thank them enough!” — Linda J., South Africa “Local Help for a Real Estate Viewing” “I couldn’t attend a scheduled viewing for a property in Osaka. They went on my behalf, streamed the walkthrough live, and answered my questions in real-time. Perfect service.” — Jun H., Korea “A Personal Visit to a Small Family Shop” “I wanted to buy a handmade item from a tiny family-run shop in Kyoto that had no online presence. The only way to get it was to visit in person. This team went all the way there, spoke to the owner, and showed me photos of the available pieces. They even let me pick through video call. It felt like I was right there. I’ll treasure this purchase forever.” — Sophie W., France “Helped Me Check On a Friend in the Hospital” “My elderly friend was hospitalized in Japan, and I couldn’t fly there from the Philippines due to work. I asked this service to visit her on my behalf. They coordinated everything with the hospital, brought a small gift, and updated me with messages, photos, and even a short video. I was deeply touched by how respectfully they handled such a sensitive situation.” — Miguel D., Philippines
